Dear Consumer Forum,
I purchased a product from amazon.in and it came faulty and i returned it back to amazon. Now the issue arrives where the refund takes place. When i was told to add bank details i did add my mother bank details but on asking three times the amazon chat person said it would be okay to leave the name of the account unchanged with was on my name not on my mothers. My mothers bank account doesnt have me added to the beneficiary now the issue arise where the bank suspends the given refund of 20,894/-. The Bank name is Satara Sahakari Bank they dont have customer care nor do they have charge dispute. Nothing from them. Now ive provided amazon bank statement and everything stating that I've not gotten the money they are still asking me to file a charge dispute but on further questioning the bank i had to travel to wadala for its headquarters and found out thr money has been transferred back to amazon and i was given a UTR number. Now the issue arrives is amazon not checking the same. UTR Number and stating this is not possible that a bank suspends the money and returns it back. Amazon has taken my money as well the product. Im screwed up. i'm attaching my Bank Statement of the month august as the refund was processed in august 8th & This is the Mail reply from stara itself : Your Return amt.Rs.20984/- Dt.21.08.2018 UTR No.N233180141268137.
