Complaint Details
I have purchased a Sony LED Ultra HD TV Model 43X7002E, price Rs 60,990 with extended warranty from Reliance Digital, HSR Layout, Bangalore, Karnataka, 560102 on 10th June 2018. TV has been posing immense trouble from the 2nd or 3rd day of purchase, losing internet connection ( wifi) every few hours and all pre installed apps would keep hanging and stop working until the factory reset is done. Presently even Cable( AV) mode is also not working and it is a dead TV. I have called the Sony helpline for troubleshooting several times which did not work and finally lodged a complaint on the toll free number on 2nd September 2018, Complaint Number- 49862440. Technician, Mr Ram inspected on 3rd September and found it a defective TV stating that the main board of the TV is defective. I asked for a full replacement as this is a brand new TV and the main board is the most important part of the TV. Till date there is no response from Sony India. Refer to the attached mails written to Sony.
I also raised several complaints with Reliance Digital, Complaint Numbers- 8016126119/8018577540/8019249732. All these complaints keep getting re-assigned and no-one has assisted or cooperated till date.
