I had bought a 49" VU LED from M/s Kohinoor Tele-video, Thane in June-2017 - Voucher No. SLS4034375 (Cassis no. 3TE49G1625B001H4M461269).
Soon after the warranty period elapsed, last week (3-Oct-18), it became non-functional. There is no display however we are able to hear audio. Upon calling service engineer (service call ref. VU296978 dtd. 6/10/18), he confirmed that the back-lit panel will have to be replaced and the cost of replacement is almost 75% of the cost of TV! I wonder if the displays are programmed to fail immediately after warranty period or what? I wish if this complaint goes to VU service team and they come out with some solution.
