I had ordered the Nokia 6.1 android phone, on the 11th of october 2018, through Amazon.in, and because i wanted to avail the exchange offer, which was only available in the prepaid option, I paid 11,500 rs appx from my debit card and ordered it on my fathers office address.
My father had left from the office and the delivery guy came. A colleague of my father called him back but the delivery guy left saying he will be back in 5 mins but did not return.
After that I called several times and they just kept on telling me it will come the next day.
On 18th they inform me that my product was lost in delivery and they will now issue me a replacement and you will receive messages for returning the faulty product which is just formality. But i receive 2-3 calls for returning the product and also once a man comes to ask for it.
Later on they also give me the number of the delivery guy which was incorrect as he clearly declined about delivering in my area or having my product either.
On the 21st Oct i receive a message from the site declaring that the product is delivered which it was clearly not. After calling and asking they tell it will be delivered by the next morning.
No product arrives by the coming days and later on when i call to ask for a refund, they deny and tell me that we need to do an investigation and on 24th you will get a reply from our investigation team and then you can proceed with the refund.
No response from the investigation team, after i call there is an email they send which says "Sorry, we cannot solve your problem."
Later on i keep calling for few days and the lower level executives tell me my refund is being processed. Then on the 28th when i call they transfer the call to a higher executive and he says we cannot proceed with your refund because we have not yet started the investigation, we now need atleast 5 working days for the investigation to proceed and only then we can even tell if we can give you a refund or not.
So amazon has thoroughly taken me for granted, has not done the investigation when they told they will, lower level excutives have no idea what to tell and depart wrong information (like refund is processed and you will receive it in your bank on 2nd of november), and are not ready to process my refund either.
I request you to look into this matter as soon as possible.
