Dear Sir/Mam,

I had made a booking for my wife and my infant child to travel from New Delhi till Rome for 12th October , 2018. The booking id provided to us by Makemytrip portal is Booking ID NN2269723464377.

However , the visa of wife and son got rejected due to some reason and we came to know that on 11th October morning around 10 AM. Immediately I called up Alitalia Makemytrip customer care to cancel the booking and process the refund. (I had cross checked with the flight provider Alitalia that in case of flight cancellation due to visa rejection cases full refund is provided to the passengers). I called up makemytrip guys at around 11 AM and immediately provided the documents such as ticket , visa rejection letters and passport copies.

I cross checked with makemytrip customer care at night for the cancellation and was told that the tickets are cancelled and they would follow up with the airlines for the refund. After multiple follows done with makemytrip I didnt get my refund and got a final message from them that the refund cannot be processed at the ticket has been marked as no show. This is ridiculus as the tickets were cancelled on 11th October and the reasons which makemytrip is giving is beyond consideration.

I would request you to take a strict action and help me to get my refund processed.
