Complaint Details
Mobile Samsung J8 was purchased on 18th Oct, 2018 from TechNext, Vasai West. The mobile got hung while updating the software on 6th Nov, 2018 and was running slow. Took the handset to Technext and Samsung but no satisfactory solution. One Samsung service center (Khar) informed me that its a software issue and will be updated, another Samsung service center (Vasai West), informs its a mother-board issue. And the data will be lost.
The product did not even work properly for 15 days. I requested to save my data or replacement of new phone. Another issue is that the service centers demand for a PAN card or Aadhaar card as mandatory. Why do these service centers need copy of personal data of the customer.
However, this is inconvenience caused and absolutely no customer satisfaction for the Samsung product.
