Complaint Details
Had made a purchase of rs 66,999 from Croma on EMI which was authorised while purchaisng the product, however after three days Bank reversed the EMI authorisation (which was not informed also) but was stipulated in bill and I was to pay the entire value amount of the product as it was exceeding the limit set on my card and moreover bank charged on over limit . called bank on several occasion and they promised to help and convert purchase back to EMI however in the latter month too they did not convert purchase into EMI and moreover sought Penalties and Interest.
The representations were ignored and SC Bank is insisting on making payment for interest and penalties and are unable to reconvert purchase to EMI.
All the above is without any fault of mine.
If it was over limit the purchase in the first place should be authorized.
However they are now causing immense trouble and inconvenience.
Am attaching the purchase invoice clearly showing EMI authorization
