Hello Sir,
I had approached Axis Bank loan center at Ranigunj, Secunderabad on 22nd December 2018 for settlement of my loan a/c PPR000802850959 and spoke to Mr. Srinivas (cell# 7702732555) regarding a settlement . We reached an agreement and I was asked to spread the settlement amount of Rs.7 lakhs over 5 instalments. I made a payment of the first instalment of 1.40 lakhs on 27th December. I met Mr. Srinivas on 28th December and he drafted the agreement, after taking 4 post-dated cheques from me for an amount of 1.40 lakhs each. Inspite of having initiated the payments, I received a legal notice on 18th January from O M Gujar Law Chambers based in Mumbai stating that I have never responded to the Bank's demand notice (which is a total lie) and that I will need to comply with this legal notice for payment within 7 days else civil and criminal action will be initiated against me.
I immediately reached out to Mr. Srinivas. He didn't answer my call so I sent him a message. He read the message but did not respond. I also wrote an email to the Law firm with proofs of settlement agreement and payment but they did not respond either. Today I called Mr. Srinivas and he answered after multiple attempts. He told me that I need to deal with this on my own. I am given to understand that he is in a senior position. He is dealing with me on behalf of the bank. He worked on the agreement and took the money. He was very involved all this while, but today when I called him for help to halt the legal proceeding he has raised his hands. I made a call to the law firm and spoke with Hitesh. He said that Mr. Satish will respond to my email by today evening, which also did not happen.
I have been going through extreme stress due to my financial situation and to make things worse, Axis bank is torturing me with threats even after agreeing on a settlement and receiving payment.
Please have somebody reach back to me with the actual status of my case. I am being given a run-around and every party is passing me over to the other. I am afraid this will continue like this till 7 days, post which an arrest warrant or court summons will be issued on my name. I am not able to take this harassment and if something unfortunate happens to me, then Axis bank is going to be 100% accountable for it.
