I booked a two way ticket for my mother in law, through Jet airways website, for travel from Trivandrum to Dammam on 24th January and then return to Trivandrum on 21st April, after 3 months. I took the ticket using my Saudi Arabian bank debit card.
My mother-in-law reached Dammam, on 24th January, as scheduled. The trip was good.

Later the return plans were changed and we decided to extend the visit visa for another 3 months.
So I tried to cancel my ticket, on 25th & 26th, but the website just gave a reply that the reservation system is offline due to technical error.

Later on 26th night, I was able to cancel the return tickets..

But I was shocked to see that the refunded amount is Rs.31/-...
The calculations given by the website shows that the cancellation charge is Rs.11,000/- which is unjustifiable.

This is unacceptable. THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL.

Me and my family are regular users of jet airways,
We always travelling between Dammam & Trivandrum in your direct flight.
This is the first time, i am cancelling a ticket and this experience is worse.

Please reconsider the high cancellation charges.
Otherwise I got no other option than boycotting your company for ever for our travel.
