Complaint Details
I had made a booking on Cleartrip.com for a flight from Mumbai to Delhi at around 7:15pm on Nov 27 2018. During the first booking, the payment transaction did not go through so I proceeded with another booking (no money was deducted from my account at this point). The second booking went through successfully and the money was also deduced from my account. After an hour or so, money from the first transaction was deducted from my account and so I called Cleartrip - who said this was a technical error from their end and that they will refund the entire amount (Rs. 7,863) from the first booking.
On the evening of Nov 29 I made an attempt to web check-in for my flight the next day to Delhi but found that I was not on the passenger list! I called Cleartrip who admitted a technical error from their end (both tickets were listed under one PNR # GFFDRJ). Cleartrip made verbal and written commitments to refund the entire amount of the first two transactions (Rs. 15,726) of which I have voice recordings and an email. Till date Cleartrip has refunded only half the amount (Rs. 7,863) despite my repeated calls.
I request your help to get the money rightly due to me of Rs. 7,863 from Cleartrip.com at the earliest.
