Complaint Details
I had purchased a book on 29 April 2019 which I had received on 4 May 2019 KYC & AML for BANKS/FI, on receipt of the book to my surprised the charged levied by Amazon was 325/, but the MRP on the same was mentioned as Rs 225/. Amazon is cheating the customer by charging more than the MRP which is
against the law of the Land. Also it amounts to breach of Trust of such a Reputed brand like Amazon. Also I had to speak to your representative for 40 minutes to explain the same that it is not convenient for me to go at a cyber cafe and take a picture of the attachment and sent a mail, while I had already provided them the number of the publisher where they can always refer to and get the details of the same. I demand damages for the lost of time value and money involved for speaking to your Representative and go to the cyber cafe for sending the mail. There was also a mental harassment for me as you have charged more than the Mrp. The Company always makes due diligence before enrolling the vendor was it not done, and you will charge penalty for violations of terms and condition. kindly refund the Excess of Rs 100/ and also compensate me for mental harrassment and for cheating and breach of trust by Amazon an amount of Rs 25000/-.Attached please find cover of the book where the price tag is removed by Amazon and rate which is applicable is also printed on the book
