Complaint Details
I purchased club marine plywoods of Timberland and wood worth 40000+ 600 (transportation) from Wasim Ply N Wood situated in Malwani no 1. Malad west. After the product was delivered it was sent back as all the plywoods were uneven and new stock was asked to be picked up from Timberland godown located in Goregaon East Jet Marketing A/399,walbhat road,Babubhahi compound,goregaon (East) mumbai 400063. Relacement plywoods were tested by me by submerging several pieces in water for its claim of marine pkywood. Within 12 hours the ply absorbed water and lost its shape. The same was communicated to Jet Marketing on 8th Aug along with samples tested. The product was acknowledged as faulty by Mr Manoj the concerned personnel at Jet marketing. I had clearly communiacted to Mr Manoj that there is a loss of all the plywood, wood, laminate, fevicol, abro tapes, labour charges of the carpenter and the same has to be compensated in full by them. After several interactions with Wasim ply n wood and Jet marketing for about 2 days they have agreed to pay for the charges of their material supplied and laminate only and have asked me to bear the remaining charges amounting to nearly Rs 15000 ( Rs 10000 carpenters charge and balance towards materials used for completing the work carried on the faulty substandard material).

I insist they bear my entire loss as the product is acknowledged as faulty by Mr Manoj from Jet Mktg in writing. I had even told them I need an urgent resolution as the carpenters labour cost is increasing by the day due to the delay caused.

Jet marketing and Wasim Ply N Wood need to compensate for all the losses incurred by me till the issue is resolved. If the same is not accepted by the concerned parties by 10th Aug I will continue with the work and will want a compensation on the entire cost incurred post completion.
