Complaint Details
I booked Agarwal packers to move my goods from Delhi to Hyderabad. The goods were booked using 3 different Consignment numbers and i paid approximately 80,000 including insurance as the transportation charges. One of the items was a 55 inch TV. The TV was packed by Agarwal and just before packing i asked the laborers who were packing to switch on the TV to check that it was working. They switched on and off and confirmed that the TV was working. When the goods were delivered to me the TV was not working and i was told that a claim will be filed and i will be give compensation in 15 days. Now it has been close to a month and the claim has still not been processed. The claims company is telling me that the Agarwal packrs is denying packing teh TV. The TV was packed and delivered by Agarwal. How can they deny that just to stop the claim. I have been following up for a month and am close to giving up. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
