have seen this platform as a perfect medium for the consumer to get justice. I firmly believing on this and writing the below complaint against Samsung. I had purchased a Samsung A70 on 8/06/2019 for a value of Rs 28000/- from one of the prominent Multi Brand Outlets in Bandra West, Mumbai for my wife. On 20/08/2019 around 7:30 PM, my phone display all of a sudden stopped working and it was shock and surprise for me. My wife was shocked because neither my phone had a fall or had gone through any mishandling wherein the gadget displayed such a problem. On 21/08/2019 during the afternoon, My wife took the phone to the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center at Goregoan West, Mumbai and this is what I faced against complaint number registered as: 4289056595. During this course my wife was made to sit for not less than 1 hour to receive a feedback on the future process. My wife is pregnant she was asked to waited for couple of hours without showing any courtesy towards women. After lot of unwarranted waiting the service engineer came out and said that there is water traces found in my phone and they straight away denied repairing the handset. My wife denied and did not agree to the service centre report as nothing wrong was done to the phone from her end. My wife tried speaking to the service centre manager but again after a long wait, the manager also had no solution and mirrored the words of the engineer. (Please note there was no transparency.) After writing the mail to the CEO desk, I got couple of calls but again they also said the same thing what the service centre told my wife. The Samsung consumer experience even have the audacity to tell me that we are faking my wife pregnancy. Also wanted to bring to your notice that on the 21 Aug 2019 i.e. Thursday we got 2 phone calls from the service centre team saying that the repair will cost me Rs 7000 and today i.e. 28 Aug 2019 Wednesday the customer experience team is stating that the cost for repair will be Rs 18452 and they will give me 25 % discount. I have demanded either you replace my phone or repair it under warranty. They are thinking that it was my fault and giving me 25% discount I will be happy. They way the service centre and the backend team also does not have manner to speak to the customers. I am a middle class person having purchased the phone just 2 months back of Rs 28000, now they are telling me to pay 18452 to get my phone back. I am seriously very disappoint the way the case was handle and even the respect of a women truth and medical condition was challenge.Till date no response from them
