Complaint Details
I booked a package from make my trip around January 2020 scheduled from 13th march - 24th of march . I have been following since 4th of March to reschedule the trip due to the corona virus alert . they just harassed me and routed me to different people in the call centre refused to reschedule my bookings and asked me to pay arbitary amounts for flight reschedules which didnt match with the online airlines websites too . I finally had to pay remaining amount and agree to travel on 11th since that was the last day for listening to greviances and they would automatically would cancel the request . I had to pay the remaining amount .
Initial advance 1.20 lakhs , remaining amount 60k out of which 15k were reward points from their site .
Then government of india issued the corona virus charter on 11th of march around evening which asked to refrain from travel abroad or be placed in quarantine when returing back . Our trip was to baku ( azerbaijain via dubai) 13-17march and then in dubai from 17th -22nd march . They still didnt offer any help to cancel or reschedule and kept delaying on calls and utlimately at the penultimate hour asked me either to risk personal life and travel or get a zero refund cancellation .
