I'm filing this complaint as my previous complaints filed through the bwssb.gov.in portal wasn't responded to (docket numbers BWSSB-2020-06-07-149700 and BWSSB-2020-06-21-155901). I tried their call center numbers, but none are reachable.

We have had issues with highly irregular and irrational bill amounts being charged upon us from quite some time. This has not the first time it had happened which is why we are being compelled to complain to you officially over this. The average bill expected every month is normally within the range of Rs 400 to Rs 900. But Many times we were charged amounts higher than that, sometimes to the range of Rs 1500 and so on. 3 years back we even had an inconceivable bill amount of Rs 5000 charged, but strangely enough, we paid it off since we didn't know whom to complain to at the time. But this time again, the same situation has risen. The bill charged upon us is Rs 3123 this month, which is abnormally high.
Prior to that, in the month of April, our bill was Rs 401. And prior to that, in March it was Rs 531 and again in February, it was Rs 336.
Please kindly look into this matter as soon as possible and intimate us with a solution as we cannot afford to pay this unfair bill amount charged upon us. We strongly feel that the METER here is faulty. So kindly send someone here immediately to have it looked at. If possible, also get it replaced as we feel it not right to pay the bills coming forward till this issue gets resolved.

Note: PFA the photos of our bills dating from February 2020. Included with it is also the latest bill for the month of June amounting to Rs 4301/- (not included among attachments). We have not paid from the month of May since we were first hoping to see this issue resolved and only then take further steps.
