Hello Consumer Board of India,
I want to write to you to highlight the harassment by the WNET team in Ghatkopar Mumbai.
We had a 20 mbps connection with them inspite of which internet speed was less than 4 MBPS. After several complaints and calls it was recommended to my senior citizen parents that they should go for a 50 MBPS connection. In spite of paying 8000+ INR additional to WNET to increase the speed, the speed continues to remain less than 10 MBPS. We have made several calls to them. Their technicians are rude and have now placed a wire to the router from the window which prevents the window from shutting in the living room. More so the internet only works in the living room ( its a 500 sq ft apartment) at a speed less than 10 mbps. in spite of several complaints, requests and calls the WNET team is unwilling to refund the amount or help us out. I would like to file an official complaint and demand we take action against them. I'll be sending further proofs on how they are harassing consumers and there is no one accountable in the team to help us out. They really need their license to be suspended.
