Complaint Details
My Hathway Account No. is 1178242298 in the name of Naresh. I had renewed my Hathway Broadband plan from 75 Mbps to 125 Mbps by paying the Annual Subscription of Rs 7891. However, the speed I am getting is just 30 Mbps. Since 29.08.2020 till date I have been making calls to the customer care every day requesting for the resolution of the issue. Every day the Customer care representatives say that the technician will visit the same day but for the past 9 days the technician has not visited and the issue is still unresolved. When I said that if the problem cannot be resolved please make a refund, the customer care agents bluntly and rudely say that amount cannot be refunded. One customer care agent by name Ganesh spoke very rudely.

In the current WORK FROM HOME scenario, working members of my family and I are facing difficulties in our work which is affecting our performance at work and also mental harassment due to this issue. Every time I call I spend nearly 30 minutes to talk to the agent. This may be treated as breach of contract or non-fulfillment of contract terms where the promised speed is not provided.. Every time I call I spend nearly 30 minutes to talk to the agent.

Thank you. Hoping for a speedy resolution of the issue or refund with compensation for the inconvenience and loss caused.
