Respected Sir/Madam, I have been a Vodafone customer for over two decades now and have diligently paid my bills every month. For the past few months I have been travelling overseas and as such do not avail any services except for incoming SMS, for which I have activated international roaming. Earlier this year, my monthly rental was increased from Rs 125 to Rs 149 without any prior communication.
I have written multiple emails (as attached) to customer care requesting a lower plan (as I do not use any of the services) or to provide me an email address where I could register a complaint for the same. Apart from standard responses, I have not received any answers to my queries.
My number was deactivated in May and I was not informed of the same. I need to keep the number active as I am not able to complete my TAX filing without the OTP.
I am turning to you in frustration requesting you to kindly review and advise what I should do in this situation.
