Complaint Details
I have purchased two items from Amazon India from their Mobile application. The order numbers are Order# 408-8760269-7959564 dated Ordered on 12 September 2020. While I informed Amazon India about the false claims being made about the product regarding a Battery Slot mentioned in the description and in the images and in spite of informing Amazon India about incorrect product description(option available on the product description page),the product continues to be sold which amounts to cheating. I have returned the product against this order. They promised to send me a replacement but I received the same product which means Amazon India is least bothered to check and pay attention to my grievances. Order number
406-9476347-6622 17 September 2020 - Same problem. False description and misleading customers. I have time to request replacement till October 02, 2020. My contention is that Amazon India is just cheating customers by way of Incorrect and False advertising. Returning the said items and requesting replacement and the same being provided again amounts to willful cheating. I am enclosing the relevant Screenshots in support of my claim. I am seeking compensation to the tune of Rs 500000 per product because of the mental agaony, harassment, waste of time and money.
