Complaint Details
Company gave a quotation of Rs. 14,000 to transport car from Hyderabad to Kerala. They picked up the car on the 28th of October and promised to deliver it in a week. The amount was paid upfront via bank transfer. After a few days they sent me an invoice for Rs. 25,451, claiming that the quotation and invoice are different. They also claimed that the car had been dispatched to Kerala on the night that it was picked up.

However, a day later (evening of October 29th) the car was impounded by the Hyderabad police since it was being driven by someone without a proper driving licence and the person was also booked for drunk driving. Gati refused to answer my calls since November 1. After the Hyderabad and Delhi police got involved, the car was traced to Rajendra Nagar Traffic Police Station in Hyderabad city, and I finally got possession of the car after much trouble and after personally appearing before the Magistrate's court. The car is now in my possession and Gati has not refunded my money, caused me infinite hardship, and damaged my car in the process.
