The microwave had warranty of 10 years for enamel coating and my microwave has got its inner cavity rusted due to damaged enamel coating in 2016 which was reported by me to samsung (Q.ID 8007435) but at that time I was unable to find and submit warranty documents so samsung asked me to accept depreciated value which I had denied that time. Now in 2020 I have been able to find the warranty card and I have contacted samsung again (service request no 4311572714) for same damage of inner cavity due to rusting. Though the damage needs to be covered under warranty, as 10 years of warranty is still not over but samsung is not honoring it's warranty and bullying me to accept there unjust offer of depreciated value. In response to my requests for warranty on damaged inner cavity due to rusting, company has responded that damage is not repairable so they can give me only one alternative solution which is a reimbursement after 66% depreciation of purchased value (Rs 13,700/-) i.e. Rs 4,658/-. My demand from samsung are following: 1) to either repair my microwave or incase if that is not possible then give me an upfront replacement of new microwave either same model or new model having equal feature as my purchased model has. 2) suitable punishment for the company for trying to cheat their customer. Samsung has troubled me from 8 oct 2020 by not honoring the warranty on product and bullying me to accept their unjustful offer which they termed as best alternative solution.
