Complaint Details
I had booked AI-191 flight tickets (Mumbai to Newark - 11-Nov-2020) via easemytrip online booking and with it I had paid additional cost (Rs. 8400/-) for front seat reservations (11A/B). However at the Air India (AI) counter my parents were allocated different seats (15G/J). After having spoken to the AI team at the boarding gate and Customer service we were informed to avail the refund. Since 11-Nov, I have been diligently following up with both easemytrip and Air India Customer service and none of them still are in position to confirm the refund status. I received email from easemytrip CSR that Air India has still not processed the refund. It has been over 20 days without positive outcome.
