Dear Sir,

I am account holder of AXIS Bank, Nallasopara Branch, bearing account No. 454010100041089. I am facing issues in getting cheque credit, which I was deposited in AXIS bank, Virar branch. The cheque issued by Indian Postal Service, on SBI, Palghar branch. The cheque No. is 883012 of INR 145780/-.

I deposited cheque on 14th Nov, 2013, which got rejected on 18th stating reason, "Paper Not Received". in fact, the actual reason, not known to AXIS bank staff.

Immediately, I raised compaint (7191309), which was not even answered till date. Subsequently, I got call from branch and same cheque reposited however, till date I am not able to get credit for the same.

I have called branch, atleast 8-9 times. Finally, raised SR (8599024), with AXIS bank, which is also pending for revert.

Post that, I have raised two more SRs (8612091 on 29.Nov.2013 and 8624893 on 1st Dec, 2013), which are not yet answered. Subsequently, I have raised compaint with RBI cell on 28th Nov, which is in progress stage.

On 3rd Dec, AXIS bank send me document, which states request for payment on scanned copy of cheque as cheque lost in transit. I signed the same and gave back to them, where they claimed, my account will be credited within a day or two, however till date funds are not credited to my account.

Today, I called Contact Centre of AXIS bank, they asked me a strange question "Sir, you have submitted scanned copy of cheque?". I am litteraly, frustrated with the pathetic approach of AXIS Bank.

Request you to look into it and help me in getting my funds credited to my account.

I would like AXIS bank to pay interests as well, due to delay from their end.
