Complaint Details
We have purchased Honda City/1.5 SMT(Plus) model from Prime Honda dealer(Patparganj location) in end of June-13.However to our dismay our we suffered from 2 tyre bursts within 2 days. It seriously was a threat to our safety as the vehicle was at minimal speed and running under normal conditions.It was a clear case of manufacturing negligience and we lodged a complaint to replace our all the tyres immediately via ref no Q0511130119. To our shock through their representative they communicated that the tyres can''t be replaced as they are beyond their scope & warranty. On taking up the case to customer relations-Honda a very lukewarn response was recieved and no action has been taken so far. The dealer suggested that 50% replacement cost of the 2 tyres have to be born by us. This suggests that the dealer knows that it has manufacturing defect. Request you to kindly resolve this at the earliest as our repeated mails have been falling on deaf ears or else we would be motivated to go to the consumer court. While purchasing also we were told by the dealer that the Honda cars come with Best tyres like Bridgestone but we were provided by Goodyear. Our Chassis no is MAKGM25HDDN400423; COLOR IS ALABASTER SILVER.ENGINE NO IS L15A74131318. MY CONTACT NO IS 8800436077. We also requested to provide us the mail id of top officials of Honda to look into the matter but it was not provided to us. Our vehicle is at standstill for 1 month and we cant take it outside(dont know when another blast will occur). It is a threat to our safety. Fervently requesting you to resolve the same and provide us adequate compensation.
