Complaint Details
1. On about last week of July, 2013 I called at the customer care of Trikona Digital Networks (TDN) requesting them to terminate my internet connection. They asked me over phone to make a final payment of Rs. 460/- in lieu of final settlement of my account.
2. On 2 August i made a payment of Rs. 460/- through my United Bank of Indian Net banking account (please see the document attached), which I suppose completes my liability.
3. But again on August 2, 2013 I have received a mail from Trikona Digital Networks (TDN) which requires me to pay a sum of Rs. 443/- in lieu of termination of my internet service and also return the modem to them which was provided to me at the time of connection. As per their mail (please find the document attached), this is the full and final settlement amount that I require to pay them in order to permanently terminate their service and receive NOC.
4. On August 3, 2013 a representative from TDN collected the modem provided to me from TDN, which was perfect in working-condition.
5. On 29 August, 2013, as per the mail sent to me on August 2, 2013, I made a payment of Rs. 443/- to TDN through my SBI net banking (please see the document attached) and this completes my liability.
Despite of making the payment twice and returning the modem, the representatives from TDN kept on sending bills to me and asking me to make further payments. I tried explain to them that I have made the required payment and have no further liability but they seems not to be interested in listening to me or verifying my documents. Instead they kept on harassing me through their calls and threaten me of legal consequences.
Can you please help me out of this uncomfortable situation?
