Dear Videocon Customer Care,
We have purchased your phone Videocon V1665 from Homeshop18 on 18 December 2011, as soon as we received the phone we found a Grey Spot on but we started using it assuming it will subside as per your customer care people at your service centre Accel frontline, after couple of days it developed SLIDE FUNCTION problem as well as the TOUCHSCREEN was not working smoothly. We used it for a month and then the phone was giving a network problem too and dark patches appeared on the screen internally. So we gave the phone for repair/replacement at your authorized service centre in Mumbai namely Accel Frontline Service Ltd. at Tardeo Road, AC Market. And we got the phone back after 2 months nearly and we saw that the dark patches remained but the phone worked smoothly. We asked the people at your centre about the dark patches and they said to use the phone for a week or two and then bring it back for Repair & Replacement.
Now within a week the phone started hanging temporarily in a day or two days and after a week it got permanently hanged up. We waited for 2 days and then gave it for repair again, but this time we received the phone after a month in NOT WORKING condition. Your people at the service centre told us to give the phone for repair at your service centre SAI ELECTRONICS located at Jacob Circle (Saat Rasta), Chinchpokli, as they could not solve our problem.
We went to your Service centre at Saat Rasta and they told us to get three copies of the invoice with the problems written and mentioned on it and when we did the same, they just refused to take our phone for repair saying that our phone has too many problems and we should better take it to the other service centre located at Jogeshwari. And when we tried to speak with the Engineer Ravi at this Saat Rasta service centre, he said us to leave in a very rude way as if we are not your customers and rather some troublemakers.
After receiving such a response of humiliation, we called up your helpline number and after speaking for hours to your call centre supervisors and executives, they told us to go back to the Saat Rasta service centre and give the phone to them for replacement, this time they did take our phone and we received a call from them after two days that, OUR PHONE CANNOT BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED AS THEY HAVE FOUND WATER DROPS IN THE PHONE AND IT HAS BEEN DAMAGED INTERNALLY. And we very well know that anything what they mentioned is not true. You people did not repair the phone because the warranty period was near to its end.
Now our warranty period is over and the phone wont get repaired too. Your service centre people made us run for a phone from one side to the other of a metropolitan city! They did not solve our problems & disrespected us too! Why wasn't our phone repaired completely at the first time we gave it to repair and why were we made run over for a phone so much? Who will pay our telephone bills for making the telephone calls to your helpline? that too HOURS LONG!
IS THIS THE SERVICE VIDEOCON PROVIDES ITS CUSTOMERS?
WE HAVE BEEN EMAILING AND CALLING UP VIDEOCON FOR THE PAST ONE YEAR BUT WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY RESPONSE FROM YOU PEOPLE YET!
Let me assure you that VIDEOCON will be in tight corners for such unhelpful and pathetic services given to us in the past months and we have filed a complaint against you in the Consumer Court as we didn't receive a Positive response.
