Complaint Details
I bought a Samsung (Star Pro S7262 White) handset from Spice Retail Store situated at Shop No. G-6 Ajnara Bhawan Plot No. 1 D-Block, Vivek Vihar, Delhi - 110095 on 20/12/2013 evening.

While having a sales deal , the sales executives at the store (named Saurabh and Shaad) presented us the wrong information about the features of the mentioned model no. We wanted to buy a Samsung Android touch screen phone which is GPS enabled. They showed us Samsung Star Pro Model. We explicitly confirmed about the GPS facility once again before buying and they repeatedly told us that the handset is GPS/ Geotagging enabled. We also told them that outer cartoon box of the phone does not mention that the GPS/ Geotagging option but they again said that they are sure that the phone is GPS enabled.Trusting the words of the sales executive , we proceeded for the billing. When we tried downloading the GPS Tracker software, we were not able to download it and received a message that the handset does not support the GPS application. When we visited the store again, they agreed to the point that the handset is not GPS enabled.
We were very particular about our requirement about GPS but Spice executives fooled us by giving us wrong information. They agreed to it that it was their mistake but out rightly denied to do any corrective action and suggested that the handset will be bought back at 4800 Rs. and we have to bear a loss of Rs. 1850 for no fault of ours. That’s the only solution provided to us by the Spice Store executives and the Spice - Delhi Cluster Head Mr. Neelesh Awastha.
I also tried to connect to the Spice Contact care nos. and have also written lot of emails to the Spice grievance department but have received no response.
After struggling to resolve my issue at so my levels, I have been forced to write to you to get my problem resolved.I request you to please get my issue resolved asap.
