Complaint Details
I am a postpaid subscriber of Photon service under photon number 9230074173. On 17th December, 2013 I received a legal notice from Mr. Bhaskar Bhattacharya regarding my pending payment of Rs. 2569.00. Since I am living in Belgium, I receive payment reminders in email and it might have ended up in Spam folder.
So as discussed with Bhaskar I made a payment of Rs. 2569.00 via online banking having reference no MICI3197849648 on 17th December, 2013. Post to my payment, my several attempt to confirm receipt of payment with Bhaskar was in vein. In the meantime another bill was sent to me on 30th December, 2013 having an outstanding balance of Rs. 171.00.
Against this bill, I have raised a service request 395122555 to clarify status of my account and confirm the closure of my account without any further delay. As a response, I have received a mail that they attempted to contact me in my alternate number and asked me to contact their call center regarding cancellation of account.
I am not sure why there are still doubts regarding reason for cancellation and also why new bills are being generated for a deactivated account. As discussed with Bhaskar that was the settlement amount I need to pay to close the account.
I have even contacted the appellate authority but they haven't been much of help either. They just forwarded the query to Customer Care who never responds. Can you please take a look into it?
