Complaint Details
My complaint against this Laundry is that they lost my Kaftan (Nightdress costing Rs. 400). Each day I patiently returned to check it the item had been found but each time I was given some excuse with bad attitude. Trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt I decided not to make a big issue.

They even took my party wear for ironing and returned it without ironing.

The Staff Vinod, who seems in charge, has no regard for people and did not even apologize for losing my item.

Upon telling him that he would have to pay for my lost item, he said he would and when I showed the bill, he said the bill was not paid which is not true. As my husband paid for everything he took each time he was there, it is just that with the confusion they create no one knows whether it was paid or not.

I finally agreed to take on the amount of Rs. 200 minus the bill amount of Rs. 210 but because of Mr. Vinod's attitude I left the money and the, bill back.

I think a company doing a service business needs to be a little more responsible with the items as well as with people and not treat someone so disrespectfully despite being in the wrong for having lost their item.

I have been ill and yet had to return each day to try to see if this company had found the item.

The owner spoke to me once took my number but did not have the decency to contact me at any time. He just apologized and promised to try to sort the problem. Which got worse with his staff, Vinod.
