I am an american citizen from austin texas and have come to india to attend a wedding and for tourism purposes. I have a flat in Navsari, gujarat. This store, NEW COLORS, is just near.my house, so shopping there was convenient. The shop claimed that the items they have are only faulty display but if i purchase, i would get a brand new, non faulty, and neatly packed clothes 2 days after the date of purchase. I spent over 9000/- there buying 9 saris and one choli suit. However when the clothes were ready, they were the same clothes roughly packed into a plastic bag and where not even ironed. On fuss with the owner of the shop ( there is a mother and her daughter and son) they behaved really rudely.. and paid no attention. they dint compensate on any account. Its sad that you buy new goods, and u are left with new goods looking old. There prices are reasonable, but if we were informed earlier that we wud get the same faulty products, we could have chosen it accordingly.. however they deal pure fraud and are very cunning. its a small family of 3 running that shop doing fraud with customers.
