Complaint Details
I purchased a Wishtel IRA thing 2 (tablet pc) on 8 Feb 2013 via ordered snap deal. Seal was opened before I received home delievery. After 8-10 days I have faced many problems like LCD going white blank, battery problem, software hanging problem, automatically shut down etc. When I contact with service center they are unable to sort out problem. Then I sent the device to them and they kept it for 25 days during warranty period and but did nothing to resolve the problem. Moreover they charged me Rs. 200 as service fee for doing nothing. After that I made a call to main head office in Mumbai. A person named Santosh received the call and gave me wrong information about product and warranty. After that I phoned many times to the head office during that time but either they don't receive my call or did not give me a proper response. After some days Santosh and Mr Stenly told me to replace my tablet and send me new one and also asked me to courier my tablet to Mumbai head office. I send via dtdcplus service (Consingment No. V12749673) on 1/4/2013, courier charge was Rs. 400, and also attached a letter with details. Santosh promised to send me a new one in 10 days but they sent me after 23 days when I regularly called to wishtel head office (wrong commitment) but they don't received any of my calls after 23 days. I received tablet as a replacement but for no avail because the replaced one is also not working properly, same problem once again. I called to Wishtel head office, Mr. Stenly received my call and told me to send it again. I sent it via Indian post courier service on 25/7/2013, the courier charge was Rs. 150 which I paid. After 14 days they sent me again same tablet (so-called repaired). I was shocked to see tablet is again showing same problems within 2 days of receipt. After that I phoned again and they told me to call back and till date I am waiting for their call. Now I am tired and I have faced more than enough mental, physical and financial problem doing all this nonsense and your company has wasted my time also. Tthe product is faulty. Moreover I also bought a reliance 3g dongle for this tablet worth Rs. 1300 that is also useless now. Please find attached all the proofs.
