Complaint Details
Dear Sir,

I had Credit card with Barclays Bank. In July 2012 Barclays Bank has transferred the Portfolio to Standard Chartered Bank.

At that time my outstanding amount was RS. 9766.67 in June 2012. Now, Standard Chartered Bank is saying this outstanding is Rs. 31,088. Standard Chartered bank had not issued the card to me even after religious follow up with Standard Chartered Bank. Whenever I have tried to contact them they just ask for the money even they did not tell me the card number.

They keep on adding the late payment fees and interest charges and calculated every month.

Now, they are calling me on regular basis for a settlement for Rs. 10,950. But every time they call they come up with different statement; sometimes they said we will give you settlement letter right now and in 7 days you will get NO DUES certificate. Today they called and said we will give you only 'Settlement Letter', if you need 'NO DUES' certificate then you have to pay full amount as Rs. 31,088.

I'm in depression as how smartly they are charging 31088 for 9766.

Please help me out in this regard as how can I come out from this fraud tracuma. Because of this my CIBIL ranking also get affected which would create a problem for me in future to get Home Loan.
