I have booked a ticket for my father (aged 56) from vijayawada to bangalore on 23rd january 2014 in SRS Travels through abhibus.com. My father was bringing 10 kg of rice along with him. but the staff of SRS travels told him not to bring any other luggage except bags and suitcases. even though he told it is rice and APSRTC itself allows 25kg luggage per person, they didnt listened to him and forced to leave the luggage behind. In any of the website (either abhibus or SRS) this kind of clause is not mentioned, instead it is mentioned that passengers are not supposed to carry items worth more than 1000. Rice that my father was bringing will be hardly 200rs in cost. SRS travels should give an explanation for this humiliation of a senior citizen.
