Dear Sir,

I came across an from Oman Air that said (20% off on completing 20 years of service) and booked 1 ticket on Oman Air for Mumbai-Paris- Zurich- mumbai Sector. The first ticket was booked on Makemytrip.com date 29th Dec 2013 for Rs 37,693 + convenience fee.
The site continued showing tickets available and I tried booking a second ticket within half an hour of the first ticket. The booking attempt failed several times saying that payment gateway is not working and after this happened several times I got a message saying the ticket price has increased. I called up Makemytrip.com but they communicated an even higher price of ticket against what was showing online. Ultimately, I booked the second ticket at a higher price of Rs 38,755 + convenience fee.
After 2 days later while Oman Air was continuing the offer I went and checked the price again and was shocked to see that now tickets were available at even lower price than earlier at a price of Rs 35559.
This is an extremely unfair practice.
Oman Air has launched a scheme communicating an offer. While I book the ticket the payment is declined and I am told the tickets prices have increased and I am given a higher price ticket. 2 days later suddenly a lower than ever price appears on the site again. And the ticket I have been issued cannot be cancelled.
I am attaching my tickets as well as the picture of cheaper fare which I clicked in first week of January.
Oman Air should ideally refund the fare difference if it is issuing a non refundable ticket on scheme and later reducing prices further. When I wrote to the airlines I got a detailed response which is unsatisfactory according to me.
