Complaint Details
I've an airtel postpaid connection. I've subscribed for Airtel 3G + 2G data plan (512 MB 3G and 512 MB 2G) for Rs. 150 per month.

This complaint is regarding the bill generated on 9th Nov, 2013 (for the bill period 8th Oct - 7th Nov) for amount Rs. 3841.00/-.

The bill details (and the harrassing calls from airtel customer care executives) both say that I had used 277 MB 3G and 749 MB 2G in that month.
So they have charged about Rs. 2490 (10p/10KB) for extra 249 MB 2g usage(749-500).

Airtel executives have clearly told me (since the beginning of the connection subscription), that texting '3GUSE' will let me know my 3G usage for that month till date.
And in reply to my text '3GUSE', I've a message from Airtel dated 23rd October, that I've used 479MB out of my 1024MB usage.
So after this message, I switched to 2G speed (from my phone).
(I've the recordings of all the calls which I've had with airtel executives, in which they have been consistently informing that '3GUSE' tells the 3G usage of that month), which I know now, is not true.

And the irony is that, the final bill says my 3G usage is 277MB. And they have charged me for 2G.

Had airtel executives not misguided me about what information '3GUSE' gives exactly, I wouldn't have switched to 2G before using 512 MB 3G.
The fact that my total usage (749 MB + 277 MB) (1026MB), which is just about my total plan limit, supports my arguments. So does the message from airtel as a reply to my text '3GUSE'.

I've been receiving calls from airtel executives for the last 3 months for bill payment.
And I've explained them all, all the calculations. All of them promised that the problem would be resolved within 48 hours. But it has already been 3 months.

On top of that as if harrassment was already not enough, Airtel has barred the outgoing calls from my number.

I want the resolution of my problem and the harrassment from airtel to end immediately.
