Respected Sir,
Please be advised as under:
1. On seeing the advertisement hoarding of Nextra, I contacted Nextra on January 18 2014, enquiring about the Fiber Broadband. I was told that the broadband services for Block No. 13 in Geeta Colony are available and can be installed with in the stipulated timelines.
2. On 18th January, 2014 the Nextra sales executive and one of his Colleague having mobile no. 8882847962 contacted me.
3. I completed the Customer Relationship Form
bearing number EA 000354 with Jitender Prasad having phone number 8882847962. The form was handed over to the sales executive on 18/01/2014 together with cash of INR 1500.00 FYI, I opted for Fiber Bolt 10 plan with DLL of 20 mbps as per the company scheme being offered to new customers.
4.It was advised that the router would be provided within 3 – 4 days and services would commence immediately.
5. After 3 days I called Nextra customer care to identify the reason behind the delay and to my surprise I was being told that they take 7 working days to install and initiate a connection. A complaint was registered at that time however no complaint no. provided.
6. On 27/01/2013 I again called nextra customer care and complaint again regarding no connection being installed till now at my premises. The executive gave me maximum time till 27th Jan, 2014.
7. The company website does not provide any write up or page stating about the maximum time period required for installing a new connection nor does it specify the maximum resolution time for a complaint.
8.My compaint with some questions had been mailed to customer care of nextra support@nextraworld.com with no response till date.
However no action has been taken till date. In view of the facts stated above, it is clear that unfair trade practices are being followed just for collecting the forms and documents without any service. I demand that the amount of INR 1500/- be refunded forthwith together with interest together with any penalty / compensation that the Honourable Court may consider appropriate.
