I booked UMI XII mobile on 02/04/2013through its website www.umimobile.in and paid through PayTM by direct deduction from my ICICI bank account. Rs.14,000/- deducted from my account but no order number generated. Later on customer care called me and I submitted the document from my ICICI bank online. My order number found to be:OEOMZ47055. They sent to me sms confirmation also. 9 months gone they are neither returning my money nor giving me my mobile. They are doing so for large number of customers. Most probably they delete the e-mails sent to them. The also frequently changes their cell numbers. They maintain a facebook page www.facebook.com/umimobile. Lots of consumers complaint about non delivery, but they delete the postings in facebook time to time.They are still taking orders from their website www.umimobile.in. This seems to be a huge scam. So, I request you to kindly consider my case as well as save other people from falling in to their trap.
