Complaint Details
1)In december i raised a request for ICICI credit card. I told them to deliver my credit card at Office address but they did not send me card. i called customer care they told they have send the card it will reach you in 5 working days but it did not reach. Courier company told me that they did not get any courier on my name.
2)Customer care executive also told me that that they have send pin for my credit card at my office address and my office security has duly signed has taken that letter i fought with my office security guards because i thought that they lost my letter. but after two weeks the letter got dilevered at my Paying Guest address( i told ICICI bank person to deliver at office only). when i saw that letter it was written yout debit/ATM pin(your customer care executive who is sending DM cant send proper details wether it is a credit card pin or debit card pin).
3)i got transfer from one city to other so i told the customer care to deliver the card to my permament address.for that i called customer care and it told me for credit card query press 2 i pressed 2 then there a queue for talking to executive for 45 min. i stayed there for 45 min and when my number came the respective person talked to me very rudely. I said i have waited for 45 min and now your are saying you cant take my request and i started speaking. he cutted the phone without even replying to me.
After so much problem and so much embaressment and so much rude behaviour from there side they send my credit card aftr 20 days.
Now comes for debit card!!
4)As i got transfered i called customer care to change my contact number. they told that you can change your debit card contact details from ICICI ATM and for credit card you need to go to your nearby branch.i went and there was a queue there as well. i gave a written application for changing my number and then they told i can chnge my debit card aswell to a PLAT card. i said ok and i wrote a application for that aswell. today some one called me and said your new card is processed and it will reach you in 7 working days. so i went to ATM and there i got a slip that your card is blocked!!!!!!!!!. i was embaressed as i needed money to pay some bill of mine. i called customer care they told your new card is processed so we need to block this card. i asked no one intimated me that my card is blocked then they started making some stories and coneected me to the manager. i had a word with him he told the same for 7 working days you will not be holding a debit card and i guess its in bank rule book unless and until new card is not used or linked to the account old card will be used. and now he says me till 7 days you will not be having debit card. i asked him will the bank will come to me with my cheque book and money i want. then he comes up with a new story that your card was locked on 21 january itself because you made a complaint for loss of card (i did not make any such complaint) but as per them even if i have raised a comnplaint my should be blocked at that time itself but 3 days before i have made a transaction of Rs5000, before that i have withdrawed Rs500. So as per them if i have made a complaint for loss of card they should have done there duty and blocked it but they did not and now there duty was to call me and tell that your debit card is blocked rather(for concern purpose as they consider relationship more)than calling and asking for feedbacks for the callers.
I am also working for a well renowned financial services and i know what is an in and out of the whole cycle.
After whole this process and problem i faced i must tell you that i had a very bad experience with ICICI bank.
what is the necessary action i can take.
