Complaint Details
On 3rd April 2013, I happened to buy a Micromax mobile (model: A110) from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It was working fine till the touch screen was facing issues on December 31, 2013.

As I had the bill, I was eligible for the service under warranty. I went to the Micromax Website and found an authorized service centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai under the name of M/s SAI TELECOM.


So unsuspectingly, I submitted my phone on 2nd January 2014 and they gave me a receipt and told me to come after 15 days. I did my regular follow-up with them after a week but did not get any satisfactory answers. First of all, they do not pick up the phones. So i had to personally go there for inquiring for my phone's status a number of times. They were very rude and i never got proper responses from them. But i thought this was common in all the places.

After 17 days, I went to the service center and got a shock of my life when I found several other Micromax customers waiting outside stating that the service center is closed permanently. and the person SACHIN is absconding.

A group of grieved customers went to the Police station but got a negative response from them.

This fraudulent act by the part of the service center and MICROMAX was a shock to me. I lost my phone and my Trust over them. I was very happy with the phone but after this horrifying experience i doubt if i would ever buy another MICROMAX product.

Why am I complaining against Micromax? its because i got the address of the service center from the MICROMAX website. Pls see the attached screenshot for your reference.
