Dear MakeMyTrip Customer Support Team,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my bus booking (Booking ID: 23765453164998528) for travel from Delhi to Palampur on 28/06/2026.
The bus was scheduled to drop me at Palampur around 7:20 AM, but during the journey the bus broke down and could not be repaired in a reasonable time. Despite repeated requests, the bus operator failed to arrange any alternate transportation for passengers. I also tried contacting MakeMyTrip customer support several times, but I was unable to connect with a customer care executive and received no timely assistance.
Due to the urgent need to reach my destination, I was forced to leave the bus midway and arrange alternative transport at my own expense. This resulted in additional travel costs, significant inconvenience, delay in reaching home, and personal losses.
What is even more disappointing is that my refund request was rejected despite the fact that the service was not delivered as promised. I was informed that passengers who had booked through other platforms received assistance and alternative cab arrangements after raising complaints, whereas I received no support despite being a loyal MakeMyTrip customer for the last five years.
This is the second such incident I have faced this year through bookings made on your platform. Such repeated service failures and lack of customer support have seriously affected my trust in MakeMyTrip.
I request you to:
Reinvestigate my complaint and refund request.
Provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and additional expenses incurred.
Explain why no alternate arrangement or customer support was provided in this situation.
I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution.
