Hi,
The standard chartered bank have charged me fine and interest for non-payment of credit card dues whereas I have made the payment in full before the due date on my card. The bank is saying since I have opted for EMI on my card a separate account is created and you have made the payment on the card but not on the EMI account that is why they charged the fees and won't reverse.
It’s an unfair practice by the bank since they actually credit the amount after the due to the EMI account saying the payment have been received on the card. Thus, the payment has been credited to the EMI account late despite received before the due date.
I request you to please take up the bank to reverse the charges levied both interest and late fee fine.
