Please help in this regard, In pain and struggle with the handset I purchased I am writing this email to you.
I bought a mobile phone (Panasonic P51) from SNAP DEAL on Feb02 (Sunday). It got delivered on following week Tuesday.
After 1 day this phone started restarting on its own – reason being unknown I thought may be I used my 16GB SD card in it this happens (even though it supports 32GB expandable memory), I removed the memory card, but the issue of restarting was still there, when I registered a complain with SNAP DEAL who claims that full refund and return policy,
I was asked to go to Panasonic service center to get DOA ( Dead on arrival letter) from them, Post that they will send a person to collect the phone and replace the one with new one.
After the above said, I contacted Service center they said if you submit your phone within 7 days of purchase and we will send that to company and within two working days the DOA letter will issued along with your phone so that you can contact seller(SNAP DEAL) for further process.
With no Option left I have to leave all my work and rush to service center , where my phone is been collected with all accessories, I am have given a assurance that I will get DOA letter within two days,
Now this two days is turning today two weeks, and still the same statement and responses from Panasonic Service center “in two days, Monday, by today evening, tomorrow” but the day did n0t came so far
Now its been 15 days since I given my phone to service center and I am still getting the same answer that DOA is not yet approved.
When I got in touch with SNAP DEAL for refunding the amount they washed their hands saying we are the seller and the service/repair/warranty/replacement should be taken care by Panasonic company and related service centers,
After calling Panasonic service center people for Zillion times I got the assurance, that i will get the letter by 17th Feb, Where after pushing much i got a chance to speak to PANASONIC SERVICE manager (Rizwan) , he seems smart and gutsy but all he could deliver to me is Fake statement “by end of the day you will get the DOA letter” Harsh & Rude behaviour, and much hyper voice as if i did a crime against them.
Why an enduser has to suffer and seek DOA letter, when the handset is already been submitted to authorized service center
