My dad (Patient) had a massive heart attack on 11.03.2014 and was rushed for emergency treatment to Sanjeevan Nursing Home, Bhandup west and received immediate good response from hospital. For higher treatment we decided to transfer patient to Hinduja Hospital on 12.03.2014 under guidance & permission of Doctor.

For this reason we required service of NULIFE CARDIAC AMBULANCE SERVICE to transfer patient from Sanjeevan hospital Bhandup to Hinduja hospital Mahim in Cardiac ambulance. Dr Prakash Kumar was the attending doctor inside ambulance.

Following were the deliberate negligence by attending doctor and his staff.

1. Once ambulance reached Hinduja Hospital patient was taken out in wheel chair instead of stretcher which was compulsory for heart patient.
2. Dr. hasn’t come out of Ambulance and patient was transferred by ward boy alone in a very careless way.
3. Patient along with all reports and file need to be handed over by doctor in ambulance to doctor in hospital, which was not done at all.

Due to above negligence patient health suffered a bit but could have suffered a lot which could have even lead to death. Doctors of Hinduja hospital were in shock of such treatment to patient and furiously shouted on us for such behavior by ambulance team. We immediately contacted Dr. Kumar for such treatment, but phone was picked up by driver who informed us that Doctor has gone to take another patient in Khar Hinduja. After many repeated attempts by us we got in touch with doctor, as required by Doctors in hinduja we told him to report with his certificate in hinduja hospital but he just disconnected phone and again started ignoring our call.

Today my dad is safe because of excellence treatment by Hinduja Hospital, but that incidence has shocked me completely. I could have lost my dad because of that incidence.

I want justice and demand proper inquiry in this case and cancellation of license of this Ambulance service provider and also proper action against Doctor Prakash Kumar so that life of other patient doesn’t suffer like this.
