I am a customer of Spice Retail Limited and used a spice mobile model no. MI-354, S-IME-911337051298820, which has been purchased by me on December 15 2013 from Deep Radios 347, Sadar Bazar Jhansi 284001 Mob. No. +09919914848 and +09838581532 through Bill No. 9981 which is under warranty. My mobile handset has been hanged and stopped working hence I visited Maa Gayatri Enterprises, Shop No. 02, In-front of Shivam Colour Lab, Jhansi (Service Centre of Spice Mobile) on Feb 04, 2014, and submitted my mobile for getting repaired through service Request No. 24101526E20020, They sent my handset to Repairing Centre which is outside of Jhansi location. I received called from Service Centre on Feb 10, 2014 and they informed me that my handset would not be repaired under warranty due to“Battery conn track open set void” I requested for rechecking of my handset as I never repaired my handset outside and it was stopped working within one and a half month from the date of purchase. Service centre accepted my request and re-submitted my handset for repairing through service request no. 24101526E20099 on Feb 12, 2014 but again they refused my request for repairing under warranty and explained that same will be repairing if I have to pay money. I called Spice Mobile Customer Care and registered my complaint through Call Id No. 0400019865 on Feb 24, 2014 but not received any satisfactory response. My hand set is still pending with Service Centre. I will not pick up my handset till I have not received any resolution / proper response. It could be possible that Battery Conn can be broken at service centre. Why did I check by handset outside of service centre as I know that my handset is under warranty period. If handset warranty can void during insert and removal of SIM and Card, it should be treated as manufacturing defect. I purchased my mobile with lot of acceptation with Spice Mobile Company in Rs. 3700/- and estimated cost of repairing is Rs. 2400/- as confirmed by service centre.
They cannot repair it without paying of money. I am harassing a lot by service centre of spice because no one is ready to help me and repair my mobile. Therefore, I am writing to you please suggest where I have to go to repair it. Should I pay Rs. 2400/- for get it repaired or go to Consumer Court for justice. Please take early action on my matter and please consider this as my humble request. I am waiting for your reply.
