Complaint Details
In the year 2001 the Advisor, ABN Associates from Ghatkopar, Mumbai of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance made us sprucious calls on our landline and invited us along with the family at one of their rented office near Thane Station by saying that we have been lucky to be selected for this great opportunity and will be also gifted on visiting them. Only after visiting their office, we came to know they were bullying us to take the ICICI Pru. policies for whole family i.e myself, husband daughter and son. We told them we have no money to invest now, as my husband is jobless and my children were schooling at that time. The gentlemen of ABN were Mr. Godwin, Ali, praful and vinod who followed up with us to take the policies; they forcefully convinced us to take the policies (Rs. 60,000/- per year) and to pay atleast 3 premiums i.e. Rs. 1,80,000/- and then we can surrender policies and we will be paid full amount of Rs. 1,80,000 with interest. But, after paying the 3 premiums by taking loan on my credit cards, thinking that i can pay this money back after I am paid by ICICI Pru.
This didn't happen, after three years i.e. in the year 2004 when we went to surrender the policies to ICICI Pru, they told us that we cannot surrender now, we will have to pay for 15 years then only we will get the benefits of the policies; if we surrender now they will deduct Rs. 1,05,000/- from the amount of Rs. 1,80,000 and they returned us Rs. 75,000/-. As we were not financially sound, I had to accept this and they deducted Rs,1,05,000 in the year 2004.
With this mental trauma, I left my job of Executive Secretary with the M.D. of Reifenhauser, Goregaon, thinking, that there is no meaning in working so hard to survive, after ICICI cheated me.
It is 10 years now, I want my money back with interest and Rs. 10,00,000 for mental trauma I had to go through after losing my money to ICICI.

Sir, please help me getting back my money
