I am being harassed by Vodafone for a fictitious charges of Rs. 360/- I had a sim that was used in my Internet dongle and I used it for almost a year. Always paid on time. In November I wrote a mail to disconnect the same after which I was bombarded by calls from their Retention department who kept asking me to continue the card for two months without paying anything, not even taxes. I refused but the lady, Ms. Mabel said that she needs to show on record that they are trying to retain customers, and its ok if I do not continue after the free period. I reluctantly agreed, however, I still disconnected in a weeks time since the service was very bad compared to me new Internet plan. I had paid up everything prior to disconnection. Now they have cooked up theses baseless charges of Rs 360/- as taxes for the 1 week that the sim was not disconnected. This is my first complaint and I have already written to them that they need to stop harassing. If they continue, I shall file a case against them in the consumer courts of Mumbai.
