Following complaint was sent to Fed ex on 25th March 2014.

This is to bring to your attention that I had sent a package of documents to

This was originally a return package sent by him to myself through AWB - 7982 10311560 dtd-14 MAR 14 , from the above written address . The package had a return label of AWB 7959 0850 5169 .
I called up Fed ex and booked a pick from my address

When the pick up person arrived from fed ex I asked him ship it as it came under the return label provided.
At that moment he said," It cant be shipped under INTL Economy , they dont know its a wrong AWB " .
Then he tick marked everything related to how it has to be shipped on a new AWB 8032 2706 5813 , and asked me to fill in the address details and sign it. This packet was shipped on Fed ex Intl priority , I was not aware that it more expensive then what the Denise had requested.
The person from Fed ex didn't mention that the recipient would be charged a lot more than what he has requested for in the return package . He never asked me to check it with the recipient. He left the return label with me saying, "its of no use" .
Now I have received a message from Denise in USA that she has been charged for Intl Priority shipment which she never requested for.
Fed ex being the renowned company I never expected them to do such a thing of charging unnecessary money to its clients.
I don't know why the person refused to take the return AWB and issued a new one instead which is more expensive.
Please advise how it will be resolved as I want Fed ex to return the over charged money to Denise R. Dupre as soon as possible.
Fed ex has the invoice for the shipment to confirm all the details .
Please confirm receipt of this email and advise .
AFTER THIS - I received number of replies of acknowledging the complaint but no action has been taken as yet.

Dear Dir/Madam,
With reference to the airway bill number, Request you to contact your consignee to the contact the destination FedEx, as they are the bonafied owner of the shipment and also the payor, so that they can avail waiver for the shipment, which was supposed to be travelled IE service vide airway bill number- 795908505169.

This clearly shows that they are trying to pass the buck on their USA counter parts for the mistake done by their Indian office by fooling Indian residents and earn extra money from US customers.
The lady who sent me this return package cant explain to US fed ex what went on here with me .
I feel they should resolve their matter internally and reimburse extra money charged to the lady in the US .
Its not possible for us to run around Fed ex USA for the mistake of their Indian counterparts .
Please help me on this issue as it has become very difficult to trust big companies like Fed ex in India .
