Hi Team,
I had taken a policy from HDFC(14672055).On November month I got a call from HDFC representative stating that that current policy is under loss we are giving an option to only existing customer to Close or withdraw and surrender . They suggested a option where policy is completed three years would be closed as market is floating and asked to buy a new policy and pay for next two years &old policy safer custody for next 3 or 4 months and an amount of some 96K would be released in month of march 2014 for that to happen you need to invest in new policy & the existing policy would be force closed on current date and need not pay even a single rupee towards that HDFC(14672055). Based on that they advised me to buy a new policy worth 40K. Now after that I have got an email stating I need to pay next premium of 12500 towards 14672055. I have even checked with call center guys they informed that both policies are in force both, Now I have been cheated here. Agent name and number is shared in bewlo mail. Can some one action this as I have save the complete conversation. If the information shared was false then I would file an official compliant and file in consumer court further and share this on social blog as how HDFC is cheating customer’s
