I've been using Reliance Netconnect+ ( Reliance Mobile ) since last year (September 2013 i think). and my bill was getting generated every month 14th/15th.Today 12th April 2014 I went to cancel my connection since I've taken a new broad band connection and I don't want this connection to get into next billing cycle ; they generated a bill of 1570 ( bill I paid for all the previous months was Rs. 1348) , saying it will take 7 days to cancel and I've to pay for those days of the next billing cycle even if i'm not using it. I asked them why should I pay if i'm not intend to use it, then they said it's the process .For giving a new connection they didn't even take half day, but if I want to cancel/deactivate, they take 7 days and I've to pay for those days too. I paid monthly amount of 1349 and took the receipt for it, and told them not a single penny more than the usual amount. One more thing is, while taking connection they took the photostat of identity card from their own office, now when I went for cancellation, they told me to get a photostat of the ID Proof from outside and submit it.
